So, school started a week ago. I've dropped a class already... the professor talked like he had cotton in his mouth, had no structure so I had no idea what sort of notes to take, WAY too much reading material was assigned and I wasn't interested nor could I understand the material well, I have other more important activities going on.
Getting involved in MDraw this year, hopefully it helps me keep on doing artsy things.
From the last or so journal I had people link me to their characters, and I sketched out two of them. Might upload at some point in the future.
Our apartment is nice. It's great having my own space, bathroom, place to chill... but the security and management are barely adequate. EVERY security guard is uninformative and responds to everything way more slowly than the average person. The package delivery system is extremely lax; I could pick up 3 parcels just sitting off to the side and say they're all mine because I live "such and such room" and they'll say ok. They don't even require a signature or ID or anything. As far as who is in charge, there is only one correspondent or something for everything. According to my roommate she called him about 5 or 6 times during the course of an entire day and didn't hear back from him until several days later. He also hasn't responded to an email, which I sent last week, about our broken heater. Guh.
Also, what is it with professionals these days? For emphasis' sake, some artists don't make art, some teachers don't teach. My qualm today is with advisers. THEY DON'T ADVISE. From the general advisers, to the websites, to the department advisers, they contradict each other constantly. I understand that many people are in the advising faculty or something but it doesn't excuse the fact that half the information they give is wrong.
Anyway, my betta fish died. I may have poisoned him to death on accident. Chiller Killer Johucii Momma is no more, he is resting in Liberty Plaza. <3
